*In residential areas, lighting can be the essence of a home and give it unique character!
*In commercial spaces, you still want that same “essence”, but you normally have strict ordinances & codes to follow. ERLD can provide photometric reports that met these standards along with 3D renderings that focus on the illuminance of light.

*In commercial spaces, you still want that same “essence”, but you normally have strict ordinances & codes to follow. ERLD can provide photometric reports that met these standards along with 3D renderings that focus on the illuminance of light.
Some of these spaces include:
Interior Lighting in areas such as warehouses, office buildings, hospitality, churches, healthcare, hotels, life safety, education, & several residential homes
*Exterior Lighting in areas such as roadways, parking lots, sites, security areas, signs/monuments, building facades, & many other areas of transportation
*Sports Lighting in areas such as gymnasiums, basketball & pickleball courts, pools both indoor & outdoor, & several other recreational areas

Lighting design is about quality over quantity! Yes, the amount of light is important for uniformity, but the quality of each light fixture is just as important to identify dark spots & spots that are “too” hot.
ERLD calculates the amount of light needed for each space using a 3D program that generates into foot-candles on specific points. A foot-candle is a unit of illumination equal to that of one candela at a distance of one foot, which is equivalent to one lumen per square foot. Thus, these lighting placements are determined using photometric light measured in lumens per square foot.
The renderings are created by importing specific photometric files available from lighting manufacturers. These renderings are especially important because it enables the client to more accurately define light as it would be in the real world! Ultimately, it's one of the best ways to visualize what a space would look like before the fixtures are even installed!
